Be^U Business Network differs from other relationship networking groups because it recognizes that being a woman entrepreneur is not a job, it’s a lifestyle and it needs to fit with everything else in your life, not separate.

Alignment Networking is all about finding your rhythm and boosting productivity by honoring a woman’s 28-day cycle. Every meeting is unique and empowering, helping you discover your own pace in both the network and your business ventures. No need to stress about tracking your cycle or cycle syncing or anything complicated. We use this model to showcase success on a woman’s terms.
The cost of membership is a large concern when talking to a spouse or business partner. To help, come prepared for this discussion with the cost of membership and how many referrals it would take to reach that cost in revenue. Then, ask yourself if you can obtain that many referrals in a year or not. Additionally, talk about what is the price tag on having an added value to your clients and sphere by having a network of professionals for them if/when they need it?
Be^U Business Network knows that our time is limited and precious. This is why we suggest 3 hours per week of involvement, at most. Establishing relationships takes time, and those relationships are grown through one-on-ones; only 1 is required per week. We also ask that you contribute to the network by taking a position within the group. Including your position duties, your time outside the meeting should be 0-3 hours per week.
The practice of networking is growing your professional community with the interest of being of value to those surrounding you personally or professionally.
Often people join networking groups or attend networking events with the intention of gaining business. But, if that’s your only intention, you’ll find that networking doesn’t really measure up to expectations.
Networking is a marathon, not a sprint, to growth within your business. Be^U Business Network takes that another step further by instilling a community to lean on not only as entrepreneurs but as parents. We all know it takes a community, and we’re here for that part too.
The best way to think of networking is through the Law of Reciprocity. This is the idea that we pay back or forward what we receive from others.
For example, imagine you’re in the drive-through line. When you pull up to the window the cashier tells you that the car in front of you paid for your coffee. Paying for the coffee of the car behind you is that law of reciprocity at work.
Effective networking practices are the same. Someone helps you in your business either with a referral or services. In turn, you pay back/forward with referrals or services. Through time, a networking group becomes a community working together to lift each other up and help each other grow.
Unfortunately, this question is not one we can answer for you.
A lot of factors contribute to answering this question for yourself. It’s important to have realistic expectations based on that fact.
